Ziggy found the discovery piece for that major 1982 small date zinc DDR, and there are still just two known currently. Bournepiper found the fifth known 1992 Close AM. And though it was from dirt-fishing and not a roll-hunting, SmokinJoe found that 1870-CC half in AU details (environmental damage), which is a huge money coin in spite of the condition. How true. And more to come for sure from CCF. Tough to beat #1 on the Web anyway  Let's say that M&M's (just funnin:) find is # One of the "Dirty Dozen" O.k. So, get out there and find the last eleven of them. Bring em back all alive ! |

Didn't someone here say that they had seen a few fakes just like it? I wonder if that person wouldn't mind selling me one of those "fakes". Sad to think that somewhere out there a real one might have been dismissed as a fake and discarded.

Very happy for you on the coin. Actually, thrilled. Not very happy with PCGS though. Jeesh. Not even the DDO designation on the label. Never mind the other stuff. That's kind of like a good kick in the head after being really pumped up. But no matter, Great find. |

I was just referring to the 001. There are at least 8 known 55 DDO's. This coin just deserved better in my opinion as far as the slab. No need not to have graded it and have listed that grade as well as the proper DDO # designation. Just letting off some steam sorry. Ex PCGS fan. For good. |
