Yeah, so why is the Mint so secretive about this one? If the incused was a trial that they may have been considering for the colored coin then why can't we know? C'mon mint, fess up!!

I've just gone through $600 worth of 50c today, and no incused Millenniums
22 standard Millenns. in total, and one is lustrous, like it was minted yesterday.

Do you think the mint set coin would have been deliberately different to the circulation coin?

Yeah why not, they do it all the time so you have to collect a proof coin set, and a mint set coin and a circulation coin. To get all the types.

In 2009 the astrology sets

If you wanted the picture $1
You had to collect the year proof set, or the two coin mint set.

But if you wanted the pictured 20c
You had to get the two coin proof set or the mint year set.

Drives you bonkers

I hear ya AC, look at the 2012 sets just to get the 3 types of 50 cent coins I had to fork out over $200.
At them prices you would think they would have at least made them out of silver instead os cu/nickle

You can sell here but you need 250 posts. If you hang round you will get there. ebay is the way to go. Start at 99c and expect to get $25-35. Theyve dropped in value the last few months I've noticed.

Hi Gizmo,
Welcome to the forum!
Take a look at completed sales on ebay for an idea of prices.
Check the forum rules as there are rules on the forum about trading/sales to do with how many quality posts you have made. I believe these stop spammy/scammy posts.
Good luck with your sale.

Welcome to CCF, gizmo

If you look at the completed listings on ebay, you'll see most sell in the 25 to 30 range, as enworb has pointed out. I paid $24.50 for mine. Typical luck, I'd been noodling for a couple of months and not found one - so went the ebay route - and 2 days later I found one in circulation...
Since then I've found another.
You will see a few sellers of Incuseds have sold a number of them, and sell off one at a time (anyone here?)
They can still be found in the wild- as you have gotten one, though most people who want one have found a coin by now.
