That's an awesome story. The last time I had to renew my passport was a crazy mess of red tape and an extra 6 months of hassle and then my trip was canceled.
I was going to guess 3/20 because that's my birthday but Pi Day isn't too bad either lol

MAJOR UPDATE to the story,
wife got home from work tonight, her boss surprised her with a $1000 ship credit...
then the cruiseline called... they were out of cabins and had to upgrade her to a suite. 400 square feet, top deck + balcony.
no joke, I couldn't make this up if I tried. I think I should give away another penny :)

I've been on an Alaskan cruise before. She will have a blast.
Tell her to take a sweater for the sawyer glacier viewing... Even in July...brrrrr.

If your/her luck keeps up,the ice will cover all the navigable channels and she will end up on a mediteraneen cruise with a credit for a free Alaska cruise next year for all the inconvenience.I would pack a bathing suit if I was her.LOL
As for the date I will take the 26 which is also my birthday.

 I got my penny today! Yea! It is the oldest Canadian coin that in my (pitiful -- until now!) collection. Thank you Wade!! I am so happy that your wife got to go, got that generous gift from her boss, and a sweet suite! I hope she's having a great time. It sounds like a real adventure and it was really nice you to make it all happen. Now it's my turn to pay it forward!  just need a contest and a photo...hmmmm |
