I hosted a bread making play date this morning. I bought the ingredients and the moms repaid me. One mom paid for her and two others with all quarters.

I tried not to be too dorky about, but I thanked her and stowed the quarters to look through later.

Maybe next time make it a "requirement" to pay in coins/quarters

And if you really think it would work, also state all coins should be older than you.

Since it's a play-date type thing, I think you can get away with asking the parent/child team to separate out all coins older than the child to make their payment. It's a pre-activity to engage the parent with their kid, plus you might make coin collectors of them.

Found a 1973, 1974, 1982 and 1996 The rest were State Quarters. I sell items on a local want ads page....wondering if I should ask for payment in quarters for those too. You guys might be on to something!

For selling things, you might offer a discount if they pay in quarters, as a little incentive both for them to buy, and to pay in coins.
