From the land of the Bluenose.....2 breakfast sandwiches and 2 Joes from the golden arch and Navy Davy and I were off to meet up with Serendipity Steve for a go at a field.

She was thick you. She was hot you and she was stingy giving up just a little buckle.

The rather dank and dull day had changed into an inferno as we moved our venue to a playing field/school yard. Here we sweat ed bullets and Navy Davy dug a dainty silver 925 "O" as SS and I dodged the kamikaze horse flies.

I think my meds for my knee kicked in as I swore I saw a purple escapee from "Ghost Busters' then a green one. Man no wonder kids are whacked out these days!

That was enough for these old bouys and we adjourned to Serendipity Steve's abode where he handed me a bag full of freshly picked beet greens. Sum gud youz with real Tatamagouche butter, salt , pepper and basalmic vinegar!

Here is the loot we managed.

Got home and Marie told me that she had a hair appointment..............great excuse to go a swishing, cool off and give my knee a break.

Hit a local lake and out popped a few coins, a ton of bobby pins (popular fellow around here) then this little 14k beauty

Got home in time to answer the phone!
"Excuse me is Leslie Sar Can E there?"
Lord love a duck a flashback! I must be a telemarketer magnet? Slam!!!!

Must say that if anything the phone call gave me a craving for curried chicken, saag and Punjabi Cholea.......um can do the curried chicken and vegetables..............popped a cool one and in the kitchen I did go!

Man I am so sick of horse flies.

The last few years have been brutal, I have to go "in town" if I want to detect in peace.

No skitters this year, although I would take a slow moving skitter any day over these inferno horse flies.

I swear there is six different kinds this year.

It must be global warming because this place was a mecca of beauty and paradise, like living in a park.

Now it's just a dirt farm with horse flies. Dry as a prairie fart.

Pretty bad when you want to move to a city!
