I have always wanted one of these, but...I can't swing $350K. It sure is nice to look at, and probably a delight to hold! It's not gold, it's gilt, but it's mighty nice!

If my memory serves me correctly, I think there exists pencilled sketches for a
full Union coin in the Smithsonian Museum.

I am glad it was never coined.
Just imagine one of THOSE in your pocket. Your pants would fall down!
