I am sitting on the edge of my seat. :-0 Cant wait.
@BenByfield & DVC - thats a good question. Does he want portraiture in the tradition sense? Full body or just the head? Do you want Greek Mythology,Persian or Phoenician? Are associated icons ok? For example, statues or mysitcal items like Herk's club or Artemis's bow? Go you need a gold coin to compete in gold? A bronze to compete for bronze? Many people don't have gold coins and many were not gold. If you have one that not fair...I want a gold coin. ....I'll take electrum. A big silver should be able to compete for gold for sure. Although is it ok, of a silver coin to take bronze? Does the coin loose merit if its rare and great but warn bad or off struck? Are Roma and Senate goddesses of mythology? Are references to mythological origins, horseback dioscuri for example. Are animals that represent the god/ goddess allowed Ephesus bee coins for example.

Aww man can't wait.

What did I tell you DVC. You will have to narrow it down and be specific as to what is allowed. I, too, am looking forward to this next Smackdown.

I think the next smackdown should be emperor specific. Specifically, Honorius.

And totally not because I own one of those...
