noahs-numismatics Pillar of the Community Canada 3167 Posts	Posted 07/25/2012 6:14 pm From the pics, I think it would be a Lower Canada undated halfpenny w/ spear instead of trident. Breton # 972. I found it in J A Haxby's 2012 Coins of Canada. It says that they were produced by Thomas Halliday of Birmingham, and worth $20 VG, $35 F, $70 VF, $150 EF, $400 UNC. This variety (spear) is about 4 times more valuable than the trident type. This one should deffinetly be a keeper! Nice token! Report this Post to the Staff
