I wish to thank with all of my heart the hero's that gave all in defending this great nation throughout it's history. I do not and will not forget to keep them and their families in my prayers. I also wish to salute all who have served and all who are serving now to protect this country and are helping to keep the world safe. Thank you, and may God Bless you and keep you from harm. As an "old" vet, I would like to thank you Mike for your thoughts and caring for what happened all those many years ago and now happening again. I believe these simple "thanks" mean more than all the monuments and colored ribbons they could produce in the next 1000 years. So, along these lines let me join you in recognizing the fighting men and women who are out there now fighting and dieing in the name of freedom and liberty.
Happy holiday to you Mike and all your family.

I think it is very important to remember those individuals who gave so much in the service of our country. These are the individuals who truly make/made our country great. A sincere "thank you" to all of you who are still with us and those who have passed.

I as a veteran also thank you. As many people make their way to the beaches or family events, take a moment to remember all that sacrificed for our freedoms. Even the freedoms that we forget.
For all you veterans, I tip my hat to you.
Now, just for curiousity sake, who served and what was your job?

I took my boys (10 and 13) to D.C. last summer and I had them read out loud the words at the Korean War Memorial: "Freedom is not Free". Then later, we went to Arlington and saw the changing of the guard and the thousands of grave sites of those that gave their body and soul to this country. I think it made an impression. My thoughts and prayers are out to those that fought and died for this country. God bless them and those are currently defending this great country.
