Dear Friends It looks like sometype of Doubling. Is this a DDO?
I read that people get the #4 mixed up with the #9 at times.
I hope this one is a Winner..

God Bless,
Beck,

Well its not one of the DDO's listed so my first thoughts were that this is the common "Master Die Doubling" common for 1972. The Liberty looks thicker than normal though so I'm not 100% sure...my best guess is Master Die Doubling.

Read this- and after I re-read the article I'm almost positive that this is what you have.

I have found a couple of them and I kept the best one for reference.

The "D" in "GOD" is familiar to me as the master die doubling that affects so many 1972 cents. Sorry, it's not one of the collectible doubled dies.

Exactly. It is master die doubling. It affects over half of all 1972 cents minted.
