Hey guys, I've come upon 9 of these similiar coins. Problem is, I have no idea where they are from, what their face value is, or what year they were minted in. At first I thought the langauge was Arabic... but upon further review, I don't think it is. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks       |

1st pair of images are "Thailand y328.1 10 Baht (1996) 50th Anniv. King Rama"
2nd pair of images are "Thailand y227 10 Baht (1988--)"
3rd pair of images are "Thailand y219 5 Baht (1988-1995)"

believe the last coin is from 1988 but the images are a little small/blurry to guess the others

Yeah, sorry about that. I'm really not all that handy at photographing coins yet. Practise makes perfect though.
I believe the first coin is from 1996, second 2005, and third, like you said, 1988.

Your first coin (the 1966 10 baht) is actually y#328.2 Here is the difference:  The portrait does not touch the rim on the #328.1  Portrait touches the rim on the #328.2  The #328.1 one is actually very difficult to find. I'd be lucky to find one for every 100 or more of that design. |

So, I do have a quick question.
Alright, this is pretty stupid, so don't laugh. But, what does the number represent? Ie. #328.2, is that a universal numbering system for all coins? I've also seen it with a "y" infront of it. y328.2.
