Hey guys,

I've come upon 9 of these similiar coins. Problem is, I have no idea where they are from, what their face value is, or what year they were minted in. At first I thought the langauge was Arabic... but upon further review, I don't think it is.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks

Perfect, thank you!

Do you know how to read the dates on each individual coin?

Yeah, sorry about that. I'm really not all that handy at photographing coins yet. Practise makes perfect though.

I believe the first coin is from 1996, second 2005, and third, like you said, 1988.

Your first coin (the 1966 10 baht) is actually y#328.2

Here is the difference:

The portrait does not touch the rim on the #328.1

The #328.1 one is actually very difficult to find. I'd be lucky to find one for every 100 or more of that design.

Thanks thai-vic,

That's a handy piece of information. Never would have picked up on that.

So, I do have a quick question.

Alright, this is pretty stupid, so don't laugh. But, what does the number represent? Ie. #328.2, is that a universal numbering system for all coins? I've also seen it with a "y" infront of it. y328.2.
