I got another one today
I have bought from this seller before and haven't been disappointed yet
Sellers pic's would probably be far better than any of my tacky efforts
The coin has some nice die cracks on the obverse and I suspect that this is one of the last coins minted with this particular die

The latest coin has arrived and I am very pleased with it.
It has full lustre including in the beard. Even the reeding is lustrous, 1 tiny mark and what looks like a weak milk spot. other than that it is stunning
Here's a couple of rough pic's ( I have just arrived on site for another project)
I will git this coin the 3rd degree with the usb gizmo when I get home.
So far this looks like it could be my best one of these.

1927 Florin with visible steps.!

And-Yet-Another-1927-Florin
My one and only set of good condition stairs. Unfortunately the original owner was so proud of his coin he has scratched his initials on the opposite side of the coin.!

I think the owner missplelt his initials, the K should be a H

The clarity of the steps is a measurement of die condition.
The trick is to get a 3 stepper in pristine condition.

I have seen one only, with pristine die and coin condition:
That was at a view day for an auction, where I had the opportunity to compare a PH proof alongside a gem Unc PH 3 stepper.
To my eye, the gem Unc 3 stepper would have been a more desirable coin, and also possibly rarer than the proof.
