Opinions sought! Seller made me an offer of $95 on this 1894 Guatemala 1/4 Real c/s on 1889 Peru Sol. Obverse maybe cleaned (?) judging by NE field, c/s looks a bit crusty. Reverse looks pretty good. Should I bite or let it swim away? Please don't snipe me!   Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Thanks. I have another 40 c/s on 80 reis that I haven't imaged yet. It's badly cleaned and pretty ugly, but the host denomination is visible under the counterstamp, and it was cheap, so I grabbed it.
Hondo, I'd love to have a nice large 40 reis like yours. Counterstamped or not.
(replaced the Costa Rica 50 centimos with a better picture. I didn't realize how blurry that one was)
