ebay will not let you cancel an auction within 24 hours of the end time. Fairly new rule.

BTW, that does not look MS-66. Even so, 99 cents would have been a nice deal.

If the seller doesn't want the coin to sell that low, he should put a reserve price on it. Some people don't realize that an auction is a risk for a seller. If he went to an actual auction house, and the coin sold for much less than he wanted, too bad, he would have to sell it.

Thats why I always say just start the coin at the lowest possible price you will take. Its a waste of everyones time otherwise

Just don't use "no reserve" in the title. Remember that thread?

Seller gave a lame excuse since it was the closing of Olympic, he got distracted and made mistakes.
Thanks, OldSkoolMadSkilz I will complain to ebay tomorrow.

OldSkoolMadSkilz, basebal21, you right. Sell at melt or minimum you could bare. Gambling like that is not wise.
Imagine you put token at the gamble table and retract it if it didn't win. I would like to know what happen if the player got caught.javascript:insertsmilie('')

OldSkoolMadSkilz, I don't care how it looks as long Peace Silver and $0.99 javascript:insertsmilie(''). I did it for fun, will see what happen. If you notice my maximum bid is around $5.-.

Today, I finally talk to somebody with brain (not robots made in...)
He checked and found out that the seller back of the deal second time around. I wonder what is his excuse this time Olympic already long over.
It sounds to me, seller "could" do that as long nobody complained to ebay or looked away if nobody report it.

Well eventually his $0.99 starting price worked out for him and I see he sold it for $37.

You were just being unrealistic thinking that anyone would actually sell you a 1922 Peace dollar for only $0.99.

My trip to vegas would have been much more successful if that was possible
