@craig - What size do you think would be more appropriate?

The first 100 are all BU really-really common dates so they're all nice and shiny (and the encapsulation doesn't hurt them so they're safe). I'll probably take some proper "glamor shots" later. :-)
Nice.

Thanks :-)

Alrighty, I'm now just working the kinks out of the PayPal gobbildy-gook, and then... fingers crossed... we're all set. :-)

UPDATE: The preliminary store is up! http://numismetrica.com/hardcash/buy/2012d/

I'm not quite pleased with the look and feel, so I may make a much more clean-cut-professional site over the next week or so.

Also, please report any bugs you may come across! I did my best to squash them, but one never knows.

I see a bug.

Terms and Conditions should read "its market value," not "it's market value." The apostrophe should only be used if you're contracting from "it is." So, "it's priced," but "its value."

Thanks nina, I'll have that fixed shortly.

One of the more annoying features of the latest OS X operating system is that it tries to "correct" things as it goes (and quite often nabs the wrong form). :-P I've seen it extract apostrophes where I've put them and place them where I don't want them (for example turning "ill" into "I'll" and vice versa).

Steve, if that's a bug, than I'm a giant cockroach! Looks good.

I'll send you a PM with two other similar comments.

Well, grammatical bugs are just as important. Stray apostrophes are like fleas. They're about the same size... and they make grammarians itch. :-)

Hehe. I'd have to shoot OCX. I hate apostrophes. I have personal aversion to them and am only using them in this sentance for irony. . I actually have a tendancy to leave them out almost completely almost all of the time though I make the exception fro we're where it makes a difference. .

Ok enough derailing. Back to crashing the world economy one piece of silver at a time...

I just realized that I should have probably spun off any sales-related stuff into a separate thread.

Hehe now the whole thing is over here, apparently. :-)

Sadly t'was a flop. I haven't made a single sale since I put the website up. :-)

Then again, I haven't had time to properly advertise, nor visit many events where bartering them would be appropriate.

Still, I always keep a few of them in my wallet and I have bartered a number of them. One never knows. :-)

i can imagine it takes time for something like this to get up and running, they do seem like theyd be a great educational tool as well, but I can remember back when I was in middle school and high school we were never told that coins were made silver from 164 and earlier, so hopefully this really takes off for you
