ebay keeps emailing me on writing a review on a recent purchase, an 1843 large cent. I can see writing a review on something like a DVD player, but a coin?
Rest in Peace

I think we met in Philly?
After looking at your review for ebay above. I'm sure you could muster a yarn on history, mintage, quality, value .......
Nice work. We all could learn something new or old!

The coin market on ebay is quickly growing, if I was them I would want to have as many coin resources on the site as possible

I think it is the ebay computer that is asking you to write a review because it doesn't realize that reviewing an individual coin doesn't make much sense.

Computers can be so ignorant sometimes - exceeded only by the programmers (of which I am one).

Why not just open a few books like the Red Book, use all the info in those books to write an article and send it to them. Nothing to loose and who knows, you may become the greatest ebay author of all times.

Do they want a review of the coin OR a review on the transaction of the sale?
