both VF details cleaned

I agree VF details cleaned for the 03-o, The 1911 looks cleaned also.

Thanks for hte input! But what makes you think that they have been cleaned? Just the coloring? Honestly, the 1903 is darker in hand. However, might the 1911 have artificial toner on it?

for me I see rub on the obverse consistent with cleaning on the obverse on both...it could be the pics...different lighting an repost maybe...if you got an aggressive buy and your happy they will fill out the album nicely...

beauty is in the eye of the beholder my friend...
FMV is $3 on the '11 and $7 on the '03 but silver close today puts your buy below spot so intrinsic value is your BFF right now
numismatic speaking, you paid what they are worth IF they are in fact cleaned and a details grade
i think you rocked for $2 brother

Perhaps they have not been cleaned. It seems some of the patination has been worn off the high points.
