1861 Frankfurt Zwei Thaler, a huge 40 mm. coin. I bought this well over twenty years ago from my local coin dealer. He said it was found under an old front porch of a nineteenth century home that was a wagon stop on the old plank road that ran west from Milwaukee, WI to Watertown, WI. It's still called the Watertown Plank Road.

Quote: I found this in a coinstar machine. I was wondering where I put that beauty! I thought I lost it forever. You can just send it back to me now! Thanks!

I found this today CRH. Just goes to show that "ugly" coins can be beautiful.
