Gold and Silver have gone up much more than 15% a year over the past decade and the dollar hasn't lost 15% a year.

The idea that there is a 1 to 1 correlation between inflation & the price of PM's is flat wrong.

The world's going down the drain.

I wish that I could argue that point, but... the handwriting is definitely on the wall and it is ugly stuff.

I agree, Hawk. I had a similar story. When I was 18 months old, I came down with a very high fever. I also could not get up on my own. My parents were terrified that I was dying, so rushed me to the nearest hospital as fast as they could go. The docs there said that I had polio but would probably survive. They then went on to say that I would never be able to walk without braces. A year later, I was walking, clumsily, but on my own. The docs then said that I would never be able to run. Two years later I was running. I have had back pain all my life from this but was determined not to let it stop me from living the most normal life that I could. I know that this was a severe illness and one that did cripple and kill a lot of kids, teens, and young adults so I feel fortunate to have been brushed by disaster but not overwhelmed by it. It is good to stop, take a minute, and reflect upon such things. I like to think that there are angels and that they came to help me get through that hard time early in my life.

Thanks for sharing that early life story, I agree about the angels....

I was listening to a CD oddly enough on way home today, and was over sports talk crying over yet another loss to Florida and I put in a CD my mother gave me, 3 part about angels all around us that a friend gave her that she found fascinating....

The pastor said he was at Disney world and had sick kids and a nice lady from Disney gave then a hall pass to get through the lines instead of waiting an hour per ride, and they asked her name, and it was Angel, lol. He went on to say she was not an angel obviously but the guy upstairs sends out messages to remind us, and God had sent her to help them through a bad day on a family vacation....

Angel is an old Greek word that translates to messenger.....

He told another story Billy Graham always told about a doctor awaken late at night by a young girl who lead him urgently back to her sick mother who was close to death. He saved her and he told her how helpful her daughter in the coat was to get him there. She told him her daughter past a month back an there in the closest was the dry coat he had been wearing, which was never worn out in any storm....

The fact they he said all that (Universal coincidences of sorts) and you mentioned this story is proof enough of what he said an no doubt you had some guardian angels on your side....

To beat polio is an amazing feat, well done and way to beat the odds....

Woops. That quote isn't as accurate as it could have been. What it should have said is:

The idea that there is a 1 to 1 correlation between the purchasing power of the dollar & the price of PM's is flat wrong.

Thanks, Hawk, but most of that was not of my doing. I had a lot of help but was determined not to just quit. I could have done that and lived a miserable and probably shorter life, but if I had, I might never have gotten into PMs! That came along MUCH later on.
