The picture looks like my grandparents back yard when I was a kid. But I don't think there would be any coin shows there. I don't know anything about Vermont or New Hampshire.

I'm going to take a stab at this: Were you in Nashua, New Hampshire attending the NASHUA THIRD SUNDAY COIN SHOW at the Holiday Inn?

Not going to answer because I'm a forester and botanist.

Regarding "A River Runs Through It."
It would be more accurate to say that a river runs along side of it. The river divides two states.
Drsandman2, Am I to understand that you know of this garden? I took the photo just because it looked pretty.
I cruised through Nashua on the way to Manchester for the NH Coin Expo. The Nashua folks were set up next to our table. Their big draw is an elongation machine. The kids were fascinated to see a penny put into the machine turn into an oval. The sides are glass so it is possible to see the coin being tortured. Something like 1500 pounds of pressure are used. And the size? As large as a big microwave oven, but not much bigger.
But I digress. If I had to guess, I would say that 90 percent of the people who visit have no clue about its connection to coins.

I can imagine sitting in a porch rocker on a warm summer day and enjoying my garden. Boy, this family had MONEY!

No, it can't be Derry. If you were at the coin show at the Radisson in Manchester then you would have stayed in a hotel in Manchester. Did you stay at the Radisson? Is this one of the parks on Elm st. in Manchester?

No to Derry. No to the park across the Radison Hotel where I stayed. The is the view of the Elm Street park from the 12th floor of the Radisson Hotel. Room 1215. On Saturday night there was a free concert. When I first saw the tent set up I figured there was going to be a party. Now, did Carmen stay in New Hampshire or did she wander further afield?.

Now I'm confused. The shirt that says Live Free or Pie is in Chicago... corn is Nebraska or Iowa.... Man, I thought this would be easier than a codebreaker contest.

"Live Free or Die" is the state motto of New Hampshire.
If I were to explain "corn" any further it would give away the surprise.
A coin related "Site" in New Hampshire. A "New Hampshire Site?"*
Where or where did Carmen go?
You are all going to hate yourselves when you find out the answer.
*Another clue. Time for another picture.

You initially said "Live Free or Pie" not "Die". I may be missing the play on words since I'm not an "Easterner" :)
