In today's Sunday magazine they are giving such a deal a crisp $2.00 "seldom seen bill" for a reduce rate of $2.95 (reg.$9.95) plus shipping and handling vary sad that people fall for that kind of pitch!

Well, I just received my delivery of three 90% silver halves as part of the Littleton Half Dollar club. I put their listed grades and "normal" price in parenthesis)
-1941 Liberty Walking (Circulated - $31.85)
-1963 Franklin (AU-50 $29.00)
-1964 Kennedy (Circulated $29.00)
Can't really argue with a circulated grade and while I am far from an expert grader the Franklin looks pretty good. For $19.95 plus S&H of $4.95 I didn't see how it wasn't worth the risk. Even with plummeting silver prices they were pretty much at melt. Unless the quality is better going forward though I am not sure I will be purchasing too many of their offerings. Since you have to pay the return postage I am probably going to let them send me one more "on approval" selection and see what it looks like before I decide if I am going to cancel.

I just got my dollar set.
I also got a letter from Littleton stating that they will no longer be fulfilling my requests for offers such as the ones that are posted in this thread. Guess this is over... Can't blame them. It was fun while in lasted..

Even when I placed my first order their website it said "Special offer for new customers only" and yet they continued to fulfill my orders. And I don't think it's been completely bad for them either. Like I, personally, was rather skeptical about Littleton when I started this thread, but now I actually have some respect for them. |

I tried upping the quantity of the free quarter to 100. Doesn't work. Limit is one.

Beautiful thread guys. I recently put in order for almost all of these deals. Got my fingers crossed. In one of these pages, it was said that there other companies with similar deals, in the back of Field and Stream etc. Can anyone pin point these companies and some codes? And if there is already a thread for them, share that please. Thanks.

I ordered a bunch. I'll need to cancel the "club" so that I don't get mailed anymore coins. Can this be done before receiving them, or do I need to wait until I get the first extra shipment? How much is each? If not too high, I may buy the first one just so I don't feel like I've taken advantage of them.

Lol take advantage? its their promo, when you see the outrageous prices they ask for on the extra coins, you will be whistling a different tune. However if all my orders go through I certainly took advantage. Then again I needed to replace my sons change, and this way ill never cash it in again. :)

I haven't checked my credit card account yet, but when I went to my pending order page on the Littleton site, a bunch of orders were gone. What does yours show now?
