PP and I were at a coin show a few years ago talking to a very good friend of ours who also happens to be one of Australia's leading numismatists. He was showing us one of these 1924 florins with the missing bar and told us how hard it was to find one with the full bar and that he'd only ever seen a few. So after we'd finished talking PP and I went and sat down and looked through a dealers stock and I kid you not the first 1924 florin we looked at had the full bar. When we showed our friend he was thoroughly disgusted with our good luck! Report this Post to the Staff
