Quote: ...will be interesting when the manipulators run out of steam Indeed it will. It will also be interesting when they have to deliver silver metal that they do not have as more of the futures buyers stand for delivery! While the whole MF Global situation is murky as all get out, it would not surprise me to find that this is what happened to them. If they owed physical silver and / or gold that they could not deliver, maybe instead of just admitting that and going through bankruptcy, they kicked over the poker table and shot out the light, hoping to abscond with the money pot in the confusion. But wait! There is still that "missing" $1.6B! And the US JustUS Dept. seems to have little to no interest in pursuing Obama's chief fund raiser over this matter. It's good to be king but it is almost as good to be the king's buddy.

Many kings have lost their heads by messing with over the peasants! The day of reckoning is fast approaching for the king and the banksters,it will not be pretty and I suspect it may be swift retribution. Unfortunately, the sheeple in general are ill-prepared. I have preached and preached to all who would listen and yet they just keep saying that everything will be okay. I would love to be wrong, but I don't see any scenario that will not end in disaster except forgiving all debt and starting over!

Quote: The day of reckoning is fast approaching for the king and the banksters,it will not be pretty and I suspect it may be swift retribution. I am hoping that it will be slow retribution. I want these bums to last a while. My favorite day-dream for these guys is to see them chained to the oars of the garbage scow fleet of NY City... for months, if not years! Quote: I have preached and preached to all who would listen and yet they just keep saying that everything will be okay. Yep but aren't those "are you still on about that" looks getting old? :-/ Quote: I would love to be wrong, but I don't see any scenario that will not end in disaster except forgiving all debt and starting over! Agreed. A debt reset is possible but seems unlikely. More likely would be a debt repudiation. No, we could not borrow any more money for a long time after that but maybe that would be a good thing? Living within our incomes would be what millions of Americans are already doing, so how difficult can it be?

Looks like TPTB are having a difficult time KEEPING the metals down. They can smack them down temporarily but they come right back. That bodes well for another upward move soon. I think I need to get some more silver(can't afford gold right now)before the next move up(I think we will see $38-40 in a couple of weeks with all goings on in Europe).

Old Silverhawk (the self proclaimed magic 8 ball) may be wrong on the recent bearish position, as I think silver is gonna pass 35 again soon tonite perhaps, and gold is gonna pass 1800....

I know this cause those MOST handy spot price boxes newly located at the top of the page makes me think that is indeed the case....

I keep waiting for PMs to either take off so I can do the happy dance or else plummet so I can buy more. I hate the thought of it simply reaching a new plateau and hanging around here for months...

Well, when I hear that it is time to bust this out, "You DO know that hope is NOT a plan, right?". Man, back up like a rocket this morning ($35.22 at 9:11 EDT). I'm guessing it will drop a dollar within an hour, but you never know...

Was there some news this morning that accounts for that ROCKET jump?

Other than simply the opening of the U.S. markets? I haven't heard anything. Prices have eased off a bit since I posted, but still no precipitous drop back down.

Well,it took a bit longer today but I see the morning PM smackdown has hit and driven down gold and silver. The key will be how much we gain back over the course of the day.
