lot of people hoarding this coin. That's why I thought it is selling so well.

IMO, Mint price is over for this coin. But I need it to complete the whole "Farewell to the Penny" theme. :(

you can not have a true value for this 5 oz. untill gatewest still has a few at 609.00 and canadian coin and currency also has a few at 599.00. who would pay anymore, when they sellout or raise prices again, but it helps with the RCM finally sold out status. looks like the 5z. beaver riding the pennys popularity. I beleive in 3 months time this penny will be worth close to 1000.00

in 5 months it could sell for only bullion value who knows, as I said earlier the ladybug coin sells for a long time for around 800 to 900 bucks, in my opinion its not even a real coin, but thats market value.

The lowest price I've seen recently for this coin is $574.95. It's at Colonial Acres, and they have 11 in stock.

I ordered one from CP in Oct 12 or something and was fed up taking them so long so I cancelled it. Wonder if the folks ordering from CP back then got their coins

Bibo if you were looking for the current best selling farewell product it is the 5 penny set. For what you spent on the 5 oz you could've had 3 sets and been looking at a curent $450 profit, instead of $100. Plus you would've had $50 left over. Which means you could've bought the 5 oz for free.

Yes, but the coin penny set was available to MC members for only about 36 hours. They sold out so fast many people couldn't get one. Whereas the 5 oz penny was available for one whole week for MC members and one day for the general public.
So even if you wanted to buy 3 sets you had to order early or you missed out.
