Hi, Was wondering if anyone has seen the 2012 HMS Shannon $2 in circulation yet, because I'm either very unlucky or they have a smaller mintage or have not been released in the bulk in BC.
Thanks!

Yes, a few times already. I'm responsible of loto groups at my job and I receive some very often!

I did manage to grab some rolls when it was released. I saw once or twice in circulation. I agree it is not so often.

Got 2 of them from a Tim Horton. Tim Horton or any coffee place would be your best bet to get these $2 HMS Coin

Been getting lots of them here in Nova Scotia. I even got three Brock quarters in change yesterday.

I count cash for a school (fund raisers etc.) and sometimes will get lucky with coinage found, not often. None of these HMS coins thus far. With all the change that passes through the kids/parents hands to the teacher, I am amazed at the lack of colored quarters, of ANY variety....people seem to be keeping them, which is nice to see, IMO.

The first $2 I received in change when I was in Nova Scotia back in July was a Shannon. I was at a little restaurant/tea room in the Annapolis Valley.

Not all the $2 Shannon's have been released yet. Each time an 1812 quarter is released more are let out. Lots are being saved for the various 1812 coin exchanges.
