Wow! When I entered the coins, I never thought they would actually win. Thanks for all the votes, and congrats to t0rress and echizento. Now I have to take some time to come up with another subject. Hmmmm, let me see......

I know I can buy coins at "reduced" prices, but they are not always winners like this one.   You know, I have run I think 3 Smackdowns, and I thoroughly enjoy doing so. However, I would like to offer up this chance to run a Smackdown to anyone who has never had the chance. If someone wants to step up, I will relinquish control. Otherwise, I will announce the next Smackdown over the weekend. |

Well done JW.
I think this was a good topic for a smackdown, well done to Warren for choosing. It opened up the chances of competing, and even winning to pretty much everyone no mater what their tastes. We saw a good, eclectic bunch of coins. I personally feel too many of the previous ones have been settled by who spent the most, great to see the 'wow' coins but a bit repetitive and not as much fun.

nice show everone, and congrats to jw (or bing now...the numismatist formerly known as jw  ). I was really excited just to get a couple of votes!  i would be interested in running a smackdown in the future (thanks for the nod stevex), but i'll let jw........bing ...take the helm this time since I got around to it late.
