I'm not a big fan of error coins but I think this is a cool find.

I want to call it a VG-F the rim damage is what catches my eye mostly.

I've been enjoying all that everyone has shared. And I haven't shown any of my recent acquisitions in awhile so here's a couple I picked up last year.

Nothing special but it is One of my favorite designs; the dragon slayer. Got this off the bay complete with box and COA.

1951 Festival of Great Britain commemorative.

Here's another from last year, it's a semi key date in this series; only 538,000. The defect is either a planchet flaw, or as the seller suggest's that maybe a foreign object was stamped into the coin. I kind of agree with the latter since upon close examination the edges around the imprint are sharp, as if a cookie cutter was used to remove that section. Sellers images below, but coin is really much nicer looking in hand.

1834 half penny

Yeah, I do like that Paulus.

CNG (who normally have some very decent coins) have one but not anywhere as nice to my eyes.

I also got this half penny 1826 last month. It looks like UNC to me but has some dents and marks. Enjoy.

Re the Charles I milled shilling - thanks Tom, I have looked at that one just now, and it has no where near the eye-appeal of the coin I have just acquired - thanks again for the heads up!
