fourmack - The pattern on the Gambling Counter Obverse has me intrigued. What is the imprint across Queen Vickie's face? Jack

Don - "Embossing on the reverse of the obverse?" I still don't understand, but I like the result. It adds interest and mystery. Jack

Not a real looker, but I think it may be my only George III coin - 1806 halfpenny

Post-Your-United-Kingdom-Great-Britain-Coin-Acquisitions.

*edited to add: Mine weighs 8.2 g and it's supposed to weigh 9.22g ... does the condition count for a full gram? The coin is also rotated about 15 degrees.

Edward I (1272-1307) Penny, London Mint, Class 10. I've seen prettier ones, but I ran across this one for £19 and couldn't pass it up!

Just thought i'd upload this one, definitely one of my better buys, this was attributed by PCGS as a normal 1862 halfpenny, but on inspection it's actually with die letter A to left of the lighthouse which you'll see in the next post/picture
