Site is down so I can't quote it but the description says that 40k are available by subscription at a price of $39.95 and that coins will be available for non-subscription buyers at $54.95.
Dunno how they could do that unless they mint more than 40k of the coloured maple leaf.
Edit: Here is the verbiage. "Save $15 on Coin #11! Featuring a stunning design rendered in brilliant fall colours, the Coloured Maple Leaf will retail for $54.95 for those who do not subscribe!"
But re-reading the text, I'm not sure how this will work. They are saying there are only 40k subscriptions, but then talk about selling the ML coin individually at a higher price. It's not clear to me if they will be selling subscriptions and selling individual coins and if the latter, then I wonder what the actual mintage for each coin will be.

I think it just mean if you are not part of the subscription and you want the coin later, you pay $54.95. I think it is still part of the 40 000 mintage. It just you pay more

It just you pay more I thought that too at first especially because the Go7 worked that way but the description says "And these coins will never be struck again - once the subscription sells out, the subscription will no longer be available from the Royal Canadian Mint" and "Limited Mintage & Priority Access! Only 40,000 subscriptions are available worldwide" If there are 40k subscriptions and the mintage is only 40k, then it would be impossible to offer the coin to non-subscribers. Therefore, the mintage must be more than 40k or they aren't actually planning to sell 40k subscriptions. I guess it could go either way.

Can anyone be so kind and upload a few images of these coins? I'm not an MC member and probably not the only one following this forum. THANKS!

CC-Ottawa, it's interesting and you might be right. They mention "only 40000 worldwide" for the suscription and for other coins, but not for the coloured maple. Also they mention price protection, which means there will be sales beside this subscription.

What's going on with the Mint's website? All MC members scrambling to buy the beavers?

Correct me, if I getting it wrong, but all what appears on the RCM about the subscription, means that Maple Leaf also will be sold separately, but nothing said about other coins. I hardly believe in this, but could be that other coins will be available only through subscription. And the mintage - 40.000 minimum. I think to buy the subscription, the coins nicely themed for Canadians, and they not overpriced - usually 1/2 oz cost 54 - 69 at RCMBtw, the pictures available on RFD.
