A parade of Barbers...loved it. Also your quote: "just shows the strength of the country". Perhaps that is the attraction so many of us have to this series.

1897 Dimes........................... 1897-P PCGS 55 1897-P PCGS 58 1897-O PCGS MS 62 Bought this coin raw - and it looked ok to me ... 1897-O PCGS 35 - Coin scheduled to go to my cousin's son one day... 1897-S PCGS AU 55 This is a newp - which I just won at an S/B Auction two weeks ago - and it hasn't arrived as yet... 1897-S - PCGS 55 - Repunched MM 1897-S - PCGS 55 1897-S PCGS 55 [ could be a duplicate image ? ] I bought this coin raw and submitted it with the rest of my Dansco Album. I need to forwarn you - the next date and I have had a thing - I always thought it was my Grandmother's birth year - until I found out she shaved off a few years - she wasn't born in 1898 - but 1891 - and my collection was loaded with 1898's. I will post that date when I have an hour to two to spare !
