I bought a couple of folles this month which cover the latter end of the coinage of Maximianus Herculius.
The first, from Trier, is from the period when he and Diocletian have been retired. The title P F S AVG shows him as Senior Augustus. I think it has a strong, mature, dignified looking portrait.

The second coin, from Lugdunum, comes from his decision to come out of retirement. It comes from the last issue in which he is mentioned at Lugdunum.

I don't particularly collect folles but have dabbled with them over the years but couldn't resist picking these up at the same time as I bought the Maxentius I posted recently.
