Unfortunately, the nearest field was a military base, and I wasn't too keen to be digging up explosives - there was even a sign that said "Do not touch unexploded ordinance. You should think about setting up a rental shop and maps for Metal detector vacationers. I wonder how well it would do. You could even set up tours and take people out for a great experience. Of course you can't guarantee anyone will find anything. With the internet today It just might work.
