Rare Mexican Coin: 10 Centavos 1896? Grade? Value?

usmanb New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 11/07/2012 8:12 pm Hello everyone and thanks in advance for any advice. I have here an 1896, 10 Centavos coin that has "Republica Mexicana" written on it. It also had the MoM 902,7 at the top, which I think indicates that it was made in Mexico City. Can anyone provide any insight as to the condition of the coin and whether it is of any value? I also found this site http://www.coinfactswiki.com/wiki/M..._10_centavos which states that the coin has the following details: Specification: 2.71 g, .903 fine silver, .078 troy oz ASW. Recorded mintage: 340,000. Catalog reference: KM 403.7. Maybe the Wiki is in error with regards to the % of silver in the coin? Report this Post to the Staff
