Quote: a) give a 1 week advance notice on new coins to mc members but limit it to 1 coin only per member. b) After one week, it's open to all. But, I'd still prefer to see a maximum of 2 or 3 to prevent the mad rush to sell out then scalping them at higher prices in the 2ndary market. Wow. Most of the coins do not sell out quickly and mint even has do destroy unsold coins. So extra artificial barrier is really a way to go, sales dept at mint will be just happy.

I checked the Mint's website a few days ago and logged in. I was pleasantly surprised to see that I had gained Master Club status. There was no update on the gold coin that I had ordered. From all the info I have read here, I remembered to update my profile so that I can get "the occasional email updates so I'm one of the first to hear what's new:" and "product catalogue via email". Looking forward to my first email as Master Club member.

@Hoop130 I also purchased one of the gold coins. It helped me get into the MC. Looking forward to getting that coin!

@hoop130: Congrats.. make sure you have the setting in your profile to receive email from them
edit: Also it's a good idea to check it from time to time to make sure the check box are checked. It has a tendency to unchecked for some odd reason. Just noticed mine are unchecked again.

@JerryB, welcome to Masters Club also. I am pretty excited, as this will be my first gold coin.
@Lostwords, I did re-set my profile and I will check periodically.

@hoop130: I'm rather excited, as well! At a whopping 21.59 mm, my $5 coin will dwarf my Mexican 1945 Gold Dos Pesos, 1/25 oz 2012 Gold Penny, and 1/10 oz Gold Maple.

@Jerry_B, that's a nice collection. What year did you order for the $5. I went for the 1914 $10, as most were already sold out.

@youngloonie, welcome to master club! I am trying to find the funds to order the 1914 premium select $10. Just very curious to see the difference in grade than hand-select.

I never set out to become a masters club member it just happened, then with my gold coin purchase and my O Canada subscription It looks like it will happen again. if your like me and hate spending money on shipping then being in the masters club makes it way to easy to by coins. with most of the silver coins tax exempt and now with free shipping its way too easy to add to cart and wait for it to arrive at my door step.
I am also looking forward to receiving my gold coin I ordered 1912 because the first time I saw one which is the first time I knew they existed I wanted one, for once the money and the offer happened to line up for me.

Very excited to receive my first MC email! I am finding it very hard to spend more now, as I am waiting for my latest Visa bill to see the damages!
