Just grabbed a 1 oz JM bar from APMEX on ebay. Had a $25 gift card from paypal that I used on it. So after the gc, I paid $12.75 for it including the S&H.

@ epikur
That paper weight of a coin is simply amazing and beautiful.
Only 4000 made. If you picked that up under $3k, its was a steal. But it would have been cool to see the box and coa if you have it.

I actually followed through and went out and picked up a little silver this weekend. The local bullion guy had a nice assortment of dimes including a Barber and a 1961 Proof:

According to others, not as special as I thought it was, but I like it more than I thought I would like Canadian Bullion.

Got a 1 oz PAMP bar from ebay at $1350. New seller. I am really not sure about this purchase. But thought since I am covered by paypal, I will give it a try.

I would request a refund immediately Lincsus, no way someone would sell a legit 1 oz gold bar for $200 under spot after ebay fees that like $350 under spot.

Now that you say so, it does seem too good to be true. Last time I had made a purchase like this, turned out that the seller's account had been hacked and I am still waiting for my refund from ebay. But the problem is that I cannot ask for refund until later when the seller refuses to ship the item or can I?

When something's are too good to be true. Stay away!

And if the seller do ship it, what about is authenticity? Sorry but good luck.

I think I made a big mistake. I was a little too hasty. Anyways, nothing to do rather than wait and hope for the best.
