I search through pennies, nickels and halves. I have been offered some dollar roles and I turn them down. What is there to look for in dollar roles and is there anything valuable other than just filling up a coin book?

There are the 1979P Near Date, NIFC, Cheerios Dollars, Missing/Doubled edge letters, and Proofs. Speaking of which, what would you various roll hunters say the find rate is for the 1979 Near Date? I've seen in the past couple pages 4 in 4 SBA rolls, 1 in 2 rolls, and 1 in a box. I guess they aren't really all that rare then?

Looking for halves and I ended up buying a few hundred in dollar rolls because the tellers just wanted to get rid of them. I found 2 more 1979 Near Date SBAs. I think that brings my total to about 25 or 30 of these.

I didn't find this in a roll, but in a batch of small dollars I received from a bank: a 2008-S Monroe proof. This is my first proof dollar ever found in circulation.

Went to the bank inside the grocery store on my way home from work. They had 38 dollar coins with one teller having 25 in her tray. All of the 25 were 2014D Warren G Harding. Hole filler.

I traded some NIFC for 6 different sealed mint rolls of other NIFC Pres dollars another CRH picked up at a bank. I took one out for my album and have them sitting here waiting for me to do something with them. I was thinking taking one of each and throwing them on ebay for enough to cover fees and make a buck or 2. If you collect the pres dollars series and need some of the NIFC email me.

Went to the bank in the grocery store. They only had 2 dollar coins. The last 3 times they didn't have any halves dollar coins. The teller said that a lot of people have been asking for them lately I got a 2013P hole filler

I got more dollar coins from the bank Tuesday. They were all NS String and Sons rolls, so nothing special unless they missed something while wrapping them.

From another lot of dollar coins I bought, I found two 2008-D Sacagaweas in them. I've found other NIFC Sacs before, but these are my first ones in a long while. The only year Sac I've yet to see in circulation is 2005, but with enough searching, one will come my way.

Stopped at the bank in the grocery store on my way home. The teller said he had 27 dollar coins. I only had $25 on me. I got 23 2014D Coolidge, a Sac, and a 2012P Cleveland first term. I think the other 2 he had were most likely the other 2 Coolidge from a roll. 2 hole fillers
