Nice color on that Victoria cent! I think the planchets were darkened before striking.

Its hard to capture the iridescent gun metal blue toning. Finest known Mexico large centavo (NGC 67).

Nice "woodie"! This thread is mostly to post toned copper coins, which tone distinctly different from bronze coins like later UK pennies--but nice coin all the same!
