Dionysos, Conservatively the group must be worth 7k. Where did you acquire them if you don't mind me asking.

WOW! I can not believe the amount of coins that have been posted already! You all have really blown me away. There are coins that range from intriguing to drop-dead gorgeous on here. I suppose it is my turn Horse Horse Horse Eagle Phoenix Snake Eagle My collection is small. Apart from the ubiquitous wolf on the back of the Urbs Roma series, I have no other coins depicting creatures. Keep them coming guys!

Thanks Doucet ... oh, and yah, it is kinda difficult to see a Hippo on your coin? (ummm, is the Hippo laying on his side with a fruity drink?)

I don't think you have the hippo. These reclining gods used crocodiles and rocks as well. I'd call yours a rock. If you want a hippo, go Otacilia Severa. This coin seems a bit crude to ID accurately but in Chach (Central Asia) the likely cat is a Snow Leopard. Up to this point there have been three scorpions shown but only one was labeled. Can you find the other two?

From Roman Republicans: Pig (swear now, roast later) Bull (Sacrifice now, roast later) Dog (welcoming master Odysseus home and then died) Snakes (working class) Turtle (Aes grave)
