I am with Muddler .. these gold coins, for me, are hard to take good pictures of. My next coin, I think, is my poorest grade. I removed it from a necklace/pendant. When I find the right price on a better 1885, I will upgrade. 1885 S $10.00 Gold Liberty

Man, I'm sad to see this thread coming to an end! So many fine coins... Maybe when this is over we can have a separate thread devoted to coins that should be in the 7070 album but don't have a slot. Like the various "Arrows and Rays" Seated Liberty coins, the Type II Indian Head gold dollar, the 1801-1806 "Heraldic Eagle" half dollar, etc. I know we've seen some of them in this thread, but it would be nice to see them all in the same place.

I agree with Barry. In my type set I would like to see large size quarter and the no motto/no stars dime. I also would like to see more modern coins, like a matte proof half dollar and nickel, westward journey nickels, more examples of State Quarters, park quarters and modern commemorative dollars. I guess adding more modern bullion coins would also be nice, like AGE and gold buffalo. Maybe just tenth oz, just to have the design included.
