Wow, that Texas commemorative sure wasn't designed to be circulated.

Nice work HONDO! Thanks for keeping us apprised of your progress.

My favorite of what you've shown is the Long Island. I like how the coin combines an attractive circulated look with good retention of its key design features.

Happy hunting!

Fantastic update Hondo ... truly enjoy seeing all your circulated classic silver commemorative in one spot.

I enjoy them all ... a few visual favorites stand out ... the lovely Long Island with that tremendous circulation cameo look ... also enjoy the basal state look of your Oregon.

Best wishes as you continue to search for these treasured coins that were not meant to be.

Hi there everyone. Been few and far between, but I continue to enjoy the collections of other circ commem collectors. Theres some really awesome stuff out there.

Wanted to share an update/downgrade... see what I did there? lol

Anyway, its a PCGS AG03(undergraded in my opinion, but I loved the look) Maine. I purchased the coin from forum member WornOut. Its a beauty if you ask me and I am really happy to have it.

Thanks for looking and all the kind responses.

Hi folks,

Its been a really long time since I have posted any kind of update... This wasnt intentional, time just got away from me!

I continue to "Stay True to the Quest" the best I can with this series. The search for these coins is very difficult and can be really discouraging at times. As others have said though, I guess its the hunt that keeps us coming back for more.

Also, its really been fun getting to know others who collect these coins. I've enjoyed getting to know everyone and share the Quest!

I sat down today and took updated photos of my entire collection of circulated commemoratives to date. Enjoy!

First up is a new 1893 Columbian:

And the 1892 which I removed from a PCGS FR02 holder:

1920 Pilgrim:

1921 Pilgrim:

1926 Oregon Trail:

1926S Oregon Trail:

New downgrade 1946P BTW:

New 1951P and 1952P GWC which I recently got from a friend and forum member!

Alabama:

California (ANACS graded F12, I got it on 12-12-12 and as you can see, felt it was worth noting haha):

Iowa:

Newly purchased Huguenot:

Lexington with outhouse reverse!:

Beautiful circulation cameo Long Island:

This Maine has become a favorite of mine:

New downgrade Monroe found raw at local show:

Sesquicentennial:

Texas:

Last but not least is the coin that started it all for me. Thanks again David!

Hope you guys enjoy the update and I will try not to let so much time pass between posting.
