Is it possible to complete a Mexico 1st reform (1905-1992) date set? I thought so and am close...until Mike Dunigan announces he has THE 1910 two centavos Richard Long mentioned this coin, I assumed it was a fake. But if Mike says he has it, he has it.

Has anyone seen a 1910 2c outside of a bank vault in Fort Worth?

I always thought this was a pattern coin.

Nevertheless, there were no 2 centavos coins issued officially in 1910, so by all means a date set will be complete without one...

I have a couple NGC Mexico 1922 2c and 1931 5c for which there is no mint record. The 1910 2c looks the same as the other 2c how could it be a pattern?

Sorry, I used the wrong term!

The 1910 2 centavos would not be a pattern, but a trial strike in preparation of a production that never happened. Obviously, some mint official took home his work :-)
However, since no 2 centavos were released in 1910, by all means you don't need to include it in a date set!
