You must be thinking of the 2007 baby sets not the wedding set.

When I discovered the low mintage of this set/silver loon a couple years back, I made up my mind to secure as many of these that I could locate (and afford). I also passed the word around to four friends (because I just couldn't buy them all on my budget). Between the five of us we were able to search out and buy a total of (20) sets, i.e. a little more than 2% of the entire mintage.

In the meantime I'm still trying to get the hang of navigating and posting items in this forum. I would like to be able to see what the rest of the Canadian coin collecting public considers as the most desirable issues. Is there a forum topic that addresses this subject already? How do I get there?

My own sets are in a deposit box so I won't be able to take pictures without making a trip to the bank. (Of course, if you're familiar with the set in question, [2007 Premium Wedding Proof Set], they all look the same anyway.)

I will first have to see if any of my friends are interested in selling and, if so, maybe they can email pictures to me and I can attach to my next posting.

I take it you're interested in possibly buying a set or two. How much will you offer?

Nice try. Sorry. (I couldn't get you the 20 sets if I tried because we each have a few and most of us are not interested in selling.)

I would encourage you to consign a single set, to the RCNA auction this summer. No reserve.

I bet you'll get more than $1000 for that set when the hammer falls, and I always wondered what would happen if one of these sets hit an open auction, where the dealers and collectors would notice it... It probably would set the price in CCN Trends (Todd Sandham of Colonial Acres sets the NCLT prices for Canadian Coin News).
