Thanks Ski!

I would take the opportunity to show a new photo of a new coin. This Havishka I Tetradrachm from the Kushan Empire, struck 152-192 AD.

I really enjoy seeing all your coins. I really like the Menander, I've been looking at one that I think I might pick in the next few days.

FR - I use a Sony Cybershot. I reduce or increase the exposure as needed. Its kind of a "vacation camera." You know you hit the button the lens telescopes outward.
Some coins are way harder to photograph then others.

Nice coins! If I might suggest, a few of your shots are underexposed.
But there's an easy way to bring out shadow detail, with a program like Photoshop (or equivalent)
For instance, in Photoshop's "Levels", all you do is slide the highlight pointer to the beginning of the tonal curve (red arrow)--it's that easy.
