I think, that PO should receive their catalogues prior general release, and the coins could be ordered directly from them.

Good morning all. I got my first Master Club's email. Nothing jumped out at me. Love all the feedback here. I will try to buy proof dollar coin, when someone breaks it up for sale.

PO's had their catalogues before Christmas. Likely, you could order from them today.
If prior releases are an indication, anyone could call the Mint to order now - hit and miss, sometimes they take non-MC orders early and sometimes they don't.
I doubt any of these coins will sell out before next Tuesday or for that matter anytime soon. None are low mintage or special (with the possible exception of the Go7).

Anyone has some idea for this description "Special Edition Year of the Snake coin (not part of a series or subscription)." about the 1/2 oz snake, does it mean this snake is Only available for this year, and no following coins (i.e. horse,ram...) issued with the same features as this one? Thanks!

Not a bad looking way to start off the new year, agree with some of you that without the penny in the fine silver set, the demand and value remain to be seen. Suspect a slight drop off in interest from last year but still a reasonable amount of demand.
Ended up picking up the fine silver set, the blue winged teal set and the proof SD.

Just back from vacation.
Need to catch up some info here. It seems nothing interesting in this release. Waiting for the next round.

Base on Mint's photos, the looney and tooney in new specimen and silver proof sets don't seem to have the latest security features. Which IMHO is a good thing.

the spec says the loonie is made of bronze and toonie still made of nickel in those sets. I hope it's not copy/paste from last years page

Thanks! @zzzhuge Last year they issues the first 1/2oz lunar coin, the Dragon. Not part of any series and over half a million issued: http://www.mint.ca/store/coin/year-....UOXB43fznK0This years coin is more expensive but significantly less produced and this one comes in a clamshell not a red envelope. A pretty good deal. Both are 34mm and $10 coins. Wonder if they will make the whole lunar set in this specification?

I hope it's not copy/paste from last years page I would say it likely is a copy/paste error in the specs. I wouldn't think that the coins in the uncirculated set would be different than those for circulation with the plated steel.
