Nothing interests me though I have to buy Group 7. Agree it is a lame one compared as the first three in the series.

I will wait till I see the the actual coin before commenting on the 'lameness' of the new Go7 coin, this series consistently surprised me (in a good way) so far.

I really don't see any of these being a big hit... maybe the 1/25th gold coin

Only few coins per year are really "big hit"

And they not suppose to be...

It enough, if you like the coin or it significant by it's commemorative meaning.
Other case - if the coin future to be "very strong" on the secondary market and you looking on it as investor.

I'm a traditionalist - I always buy the proof silver dollar, proof set and specimen set.

That said, I just received my 2012 wolf cub specimen set today.

RCM POLICE: So what's the difference between posting MC pictures here VS a link to pictures elsewhere?

BTW I've got nothing against your post Lostwords.

Here are a couple of others - on ebay, being sold by a 'dealer'.

The gold plated dollar is one of the nicest they've done to date IMO, but there is no way I'm paying $230 for the set with a mintage of 25k just to get that dollar.

My estimates for the individual coins based on the 2012 set are as follows - although the first ones listed for sale will be likely higher until the dust settles from the new release:

Commemorative dollar $90
Toonie: 25
Loonie: 30
50 cent: 15
25 cent: 10
Dime: 7
Nickel: 9

That only totals to $186. Without the loonie and nickel you would be looking at around $147, leaving the loonie and nickel costing you $83.

Just my speculation.....I could be way off....but if I were going to do it, I would put the other coins up for sale or pre-sale right away to get the best price.

I was way off...at least for the first pre-sale round to sell on ebay:

Commemorative dollar $93.50
Toonie: 36.00
Loonie: 46.00
50 cent: 38.00
25 cent: 34.00
Dime: 37.51
Nickel: 40.00

Total:$325.01

I wonder will the $100 gold be less than $500? I like the Artic Dollar, I will get the proof and/or gold plated version.

The 1/2 oz Fine Silver Coin - Year of the Snake (2013) is already in "awaiting stock in store" status. Even with that I was able to add a couple to my cart and purchase them. This should be a hot coin.
