So the other day when I visited this museum exhibit, I snagged a few of their brochures. With the detailed pictures and descriptions of the coins and sports they represent, I thought they would be a great way to get a YN interested in ancients.

Do you know any young collectors who would like one? They're just 5 1/2 x 8" and would be easy to mail.

I've been around for awhile and I'm not a kid and I still would like one. lol

You could hold on to them until you find people around here that are new and give it to them. It might help collectors but those coins look like some really high-end stuff. IE.. too expensive for most people but still really awesome to look at.

How many pages is that brochure? Or is that it?

Good ideas...and it makes sense they would exhibit high-end coins, right?
I just loved seeing that Syracuse quadriga Dekadrachm, knowing I'll never ever own one.
The brochure is 12 panels, describing 18 different coins and related sport events.

Great Idea in Giving them to YN's...
I'd love for there to be another YN on this forum who collects ancients... Its only me right now!

Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to buy, sell, trade etc online, so I can't ask for one

Windchild, I'm only 17, does that count as a young numismatist?

If I was a little younger, Id probably be considered among the YNs that collect ancients (Im going to be 21 in a few weeks). I started collecting ancients when I was 19 but I wish I had started them sooner.
