Looks like you have one very similar to mine. It just got pushed over post mint, therefore just PMD, but still kinda cool.

I had a gut feeling it was PMD, thought I'd run it by you guys first though. It sure caught my eye while I was sorting.

Looks like the one has been put there by someone removing the original number. Look under a microscope to the lower right of the one. It has an appearance of a rounded bottom of a 8,5,3 or 0. I think it was a practice coin for a scammer.

But I'm no expert, just a fatman with a coin habit.

Outer digit damage is commonly caused by counting/rolling machines although the effect on 0s and 1s seems to be the most noticeable.
