OK, I am not going to complain the design of the 2nd coin until:
1. hold it in my hand, and 2. see its skeleton in dark
yes, the current design is not a flying Quetzalcoatlus as I imagined before. However, I remember the series is approved by Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology. Think about it, when I search the internet, I see so many standing Quetzalcoatlus such as the image I pasted. Maybe it is the most representative style for Quetzalcoatlus? We will see...
I learned from the premature judgment of 4th group of 7 coin and now I am a little patient... LOL

Have photo, but can't post as the forum policies.
When the glow in the dark effect is on, it looks like a few long, tiny, thin strings or lines.

It looks like this, but more thinner and skinny line. Note. The actual image on the coin something looks like the photo posted by Cheney.

Only time will tell to see how well this coin sells. All I want is 1 of there coins at issue price for my collection.

Saw it. As a standalone and non-glow coin it would be uninteresting. Very similar to pic in 1st post, just mouth is open (and no man :) )

Pretty cool coin. But like most sets, the first piece is usually the most valuable. Also, agree that there will be a higher mintage for this one (suspect 35,000 or higher) due to high demand, as well as a higher price. I think the Pachyrhinosaurus was quite a low price (something like $29.95?), so figure something like $39.95 or higher for this one, which is still affordable for the mainstream collector. I also think the Mint will get these out faster to everyone as well as give the public a fair amount of time to purchase them, to make up for the headaches they caused with the first Dino. There might be a limit though, say 3-5 sets per household. It'll sell out rather quickly just the same... just my opinion...

@Allspice, I hope you're wrong on the price and mintage. I think the mintage will go up a bit, but the price should stay the same. $29.95 is alot of money for a coin that is supposed to cater to a young collector. Jmo

Mrpiedfort, hope I'm wrong too. But I'm not sure if $29.95 is a lot of money (or even $39.95), when people are willing to pay up to $150 on ebay just to get a hold of the first Dino. Also, parents are willing to pay $100's of dollars on video games for their kids; so what's a few more dollars to keep the set going or gift it to a loved one? Once this coin sells out, they will likely buy it on ebay for $50-$75 anyway...
