Sometimes the coin edge is the last way to determine the variant. I have never seen the edges pictures in one place.

Hi All. Please help me to identify this coin. It looks like H41, but no dot after 1780X, small S.F., different feathers.
27.74 gr, 41.3-41.5 mm.
1 dot on edge between clementia-iustitia, iustitia - 16mm, clementia - 21mm.

For az2002. This is H41. I don't think your MMT is H41.

For klika: I think so, it's a some H41 variation, minted in Venice 1840-66 without dot after 1780X. The catalog is based on the personal collection of the author's coins, not all of them.

Another question, can professionals be wrong? I think the next coin is H39a.

Just found the "modern Taler re strike?" thread. Excellent tip about using the lens from a torch for edge photographs. I shall try that very soon! Spyro.

Had a look through my Roeck database and the M R Broome illustrations. Looks like H49b to me, Vienna 1853-60. Hope this helps. Spyro

Just been browsing through earlier MTT topics. The proof like issue without the 2 tiny dots in the centre should is Vienna 1960-1986. If it's got the 2 dots it's more recent.
