It depends for which purpose.
If it's for enjoying it, the 1943 looks a bit better IMO.
If it's as a bullion investment, I'd keep the 1942, as neither of these coins is likely to develop any collector premium in many years to come, and the 43' might fetch a bit more in auction.

Do you really think the 43 has more value? I think the 42 is in better condition?
Anyone else have any views because I'm selling one of them tomorrow. At the car boot sale.

Both coins have each a little booboo.
I would keep the 42, and sell the 43 if you must.
My "eye appeal" meter is no doubt different than yours.
